Springing with the joy of flowers

Spring, so far, has been amazing! Warmer weather and rain have the field bursting with new growth, flowers and colour!

Favourites this Spring have been the tulips! Oh my! Followed by the Cantebury Bells and gorgeous Madame Butterfly Snapdragons.... yummo

These Cantebury Bells in Pink are such an awesome shape with their tall stem, and spray of bell shaped flowers. I am always a sucker for pink too.

We have planted so many flower varieties - some new to us like our Godetia and Lisianthus Trials, but also a lot of our favourites from previous seasons like Larkspur, Statice, Sunflowers, Zinnia's and of course Dahlia's. So. Many. Dahlia's.

It is crazy to think that we are only 2 weeks away from the start of Summer already. Spring has definitely been good to us here in the field, and despite the disappointments of lockdowns and cancelling workshops, and scraping plans for more while we continue this uncertainty, it has been so positive to be able to turn to the flowers, harvest the beauty and soak it in while putting together so many DIY bunches, and even more bouquets!

Thank you to everyone who has supported this little venture of mine so far. It really is a blast, and I get such a kick out of the joy that can be shared with flowers. I think we all need a bit more of that!

Here's to a fabulous Spring, but also to a roaring Summer ahead!
